Clumsy Bird (flappy bird clone)

Introduction

Clumsy Bird is a classic side-scrolling arcade game and a faithful remake of the famous Flappy Bird. Developed with the MelonJS game engine, it captures the original's simple yet brutally challenging gameplay. You control a small orange bird on a frustrating quest to navigate through a series of green pipes.

Gameplay

The core gameplay is straightforward: tap or click to make the bird flap its wings and fly upward. The goal is to guide the bird through the gaps between pairs of pipes without hitting them. Each successful pass through a pipe gap scores one point. The game ends instantly if the bird collides with a pipe or the ground. It's an endless runner where the only objective is to survive for as long as possible and achieve a high score.

Controls

The game uses a single, simple control. Press any key (commonly the Spacebar or Up arrow), click the mouse, or tap on a touch screen to make the bird flap. Each input gives a short burst of upward thrust. Between flaps, the bird falls downward due to gravity. Mastering the rhythm and intensity of your flaps is the key to navigating the obstacles.
